I remember spacers. They weren't any fun! If they work well enough, they should fall out before your next appointment. (Of course, I probably pushed them around too much with my tongue, which may have led to them falling out early.) The upside is that spacers/braces give you a good excuse to beg for (and get) ice cream and other cold treats! It'll be worth it in the long run, and in the meantime if you need a sympathetic ear you know where to find me!
I just got spacers. Their suppost to help me get used to how braces will feel. IT HURTS!!!! ow. I'm sad. ow.

One of them already fell out because I was messing with it with my tongue. haha. that's funny.
